Houston Texans running back Woody Marks was forced to exit Sunday’s contest after suffering an ankle injury, putting a halt to what had been a productive outing.

Before leaving the game, Marks carried the ball seven times for 30 yards and added one reception for eight yards on his lone target. He was also credited with his sixth touchdown of the season, recovering a fumble in the end zone to score.

If Marks is unable to return or misses the remainder of the game, the Texans are expected to lean more heavily on Dare Ogunbowale and Jawhar Jordan to handle backfield duties. Further updates on Marks’ status should become clearer as the game — and postgame evaluations — continue.
