Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have once again shown their commitment to charitable causes close to their mother’s heart, making a quiet donation to a children’s charity that Princess Kate first introduced them to.

On Dec. 28, The Baby Bank revealed that the three royal siblings donated essential everyday items to support families in need. The donation was personally selected by Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, and included practical supplies for babies and young children.

The Baby Bank is a nonprofit organization that provides crucial items such as clothing, diapers and toys to families facing extreme hardship across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hillingdon. Princess Kate, 43, has long supported the charity and previously brought her children to volunteer at its Maidenhead, Berkshire hub in 2023, giving them a firsthand understanding of its mission and impact.

The children’s donation was revealed in an Instagram Reel marking the charity’s 10th anniversary. The video showcased photographs of donated items and celebrated the community support that has helped the organization reach thousands of families over the past decade.

In the caption, The Baby Bank thanked a wide range of supporters, including fashion retailer Primark and television presenter Lorraine Kelly. It also highlighted the contribution from “the essential practical everyday items chosen by The Prince and Princess of Wales’ children,” noting that the donation helped the charity efficiently reach families across the region.

“These items helped us efficiently reach families far and wide and support thousands of children this year,” the caption said.

The Princess of Wales appeared to acknowledge the milestone the following day. On Dec. 29, a message was shared to the Instagram Stories of the Prince and Princess of Wales, reposting The Baby Bank’s anniversary video. The message read, “Proud to have been a part of @the_baby_bank story as it marks 10 years of incredible work. The work baby banks do all year round is so important, but particularly at Christmas time.”

Princess Kate has consistently made early childhood development a cornerstone of her royal work and has visited numerous baby banks across the U.K. to support families with young children. Her involvement with The Baby Bank includes the December 2023 visit when she brought George, Charlotte and Louis to volunteer at the Maidenhead location near the family’s Windsor home.

In footage released at the time, Kate encouraged her children to get involved, telling them they would be volunteering for the evening. The video showed the family arriving with large bags of donations and helping to sort clothes, select gifts and learn about the charity’s vital role in the community.

Reflecting on the experience, Princess Kate told Prince George that the work was rewarding because it allowed them to help others directly. The siblings’ recent donation suggests that lesson has stayed with them, as they continue to quietly support causes that focus on helping children and families in need.
