Cardi B has spoken out after growing frustrated with the online criticism surrounding her relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs.

After fans speculated about trouble between the couple when the rapper appeared to spend Christmas without Diggs, Cardi directly addressed the backlash in a candid video shared on X on Monday, Dec. 29.

“Y’all need to calm down,” Cardi, 33, said at the start of the lengthy video. “Is y’all cool? Y’all been dragging me for three or four days and y’all been a little bit too mean. Like alright now. Y’all being a little bit too mean.”

The rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, went on to express frustration with the judgment she’s received online.

“I can’t change s—,” she continued. “I can’t go back in time. I already had a baby. Y’all want me to put my baby back in my p—-? Huh? I don’t know what y’all want me to do. Y’all want me to leave my man and f— yours?”

Cardi added that her only option now is to move forward.

“I gotta go forward now,” she said.

Cardi B and Stefon Diggs welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, in November. At the time, a representative for the rapper confirmed the news to PEOPLE, saying, “Cardi is healthy and happy.”

In addition to her newborn son, Cardi is also a mother to three other children whom she shares with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. The former couple are parents to daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 4, and daughter Blossom, 1.

Before his relationship with Cardi, Diggs became a father to daughter Nova in October 2016. Model Aileen Lopera later revealed that Diggs is also the father of her daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, who was born in April 2025. PEOPLE confirmed in November that paternity records identified Diggs as Charliee’s father.

On Christmas Day, Diggs shared Instagram Stories featuring several children and also reposted Cardi’s Instagram post, which included a photo of her with their newborn son, according to Page Six. Cardi herself shared family photos from the holiday on her Instagram account, including images of her holding the baby.

Cardi wrapped up her message on X by explaining that she is feeling overwhelmed as the new year approaches.

“I have so much work to do once January starts, that is stressing me out,” she said.

She also made an emotional appeal to her fan base, asking for support rather than criticism.

“I need my support system, my fans, to love me,” Cardi said. “I want you to come to my tour and enjoy yourself with me. Don’t be dragging me. It’s enough, alright, it’s enough.”
